Course Description:
This is an introductory course on literary and cultural theory. A sketch map of a variety of approaches and theories are selected so as to offer students a preliminary guide to traversing the difficult ground of theories. Students are encouraged to take a critical stance and further develop their own ideas while basic principles have been grasped.
